The Mechanical Transmitter Assembler is responsible for assembling, testing, and packaging transmitter units that contain multiple electronic modules. This role involves working in a fast-paced production environment while following strict quality standards, ESD safety requirements, and detailed work instructions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assemble transmitter units according to drawings and work instructions
- Operate laser engraving equipment for product marking
- Perform functional and Hi-Pot testing to ensure quality and compliance
- Package and label finished products
- Restock materials and maintain inventory organization
- Follow ESD handling procedures and safety policies
- Maintain productivity and quality in a high-paced environment
- Rotate between workstations to support production flow
- Report quality issues, material shortages, or equipment problems
- Keep work area clean and organized (support 6S/Lean practices)
- Communicate effectively with team members and support departments
- Stand for extended periods during shifts
Qualifications:
- Ability to read mechanical drawings and assembly instructions
- Experience with electro-mechanical assembly (preferred)
- Basic knowledge of ESD handling practices
- Familiarity with computer systems and manufacturing tools
- Strong time management and ability to prioritize work orders
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
