Pay:Starting at 48.25 an Hour

Blazer Jobs is seeking a committed Teacher of the Visually Impaired (TVI) to join a school district in Houston, TX, for the 20252026 school year. We are passionate about partnering with educators who are dedicated to inclusive education and accessible learning.

Job Duties:

• Provide direct and consultative services to students with visual impairments.

• Develop and adapt instructional materials to meet student needs.

• Collaborate with IEP teams, families, and support staff.

• Teach students skills related to orientation and mobility, as appropriate.

• Maintain compliance with state and federal education guidelines.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Visual Impairment or Special Education.

• Valid Texas teaching certification with a TVI endorsement.

• Ability to meet all state and district-specific requirements.
