Our organization is currently seeking applications for a full-time gastroenterology hospitalist position at Gottlieb Hospital. This community-focused facility is situated in Melrose Park, IL, and features two GI suites equipped with anesthesia capabilities.

Job Responsibilities

• The selected candidate will operate on a 7-day on/7-day off hospitalist schedule.
• Advanced practice providers will assist with inpatient rounding in our 150-bed facility.
• A project to upgrade our GI Olympus systems is currently in progress.
• Join a thriving Midwest academic medical center in a rapidly expanding community; interventional skills such as EUS/ERCP are not mandatory.
• The ideal applicant should be Board Eligible or Board Certified in Gastroenterology and hold an Illinois medical license upon appointment.
• This role will be at the rank of Assistant Professor.
• Enjoy a favorable work-life balance, as this position involves coverage of a single hospital with no outpatient clinic responsibilities.

• Starting salary ranges from $159,000 to $985,945.
• Compensation is determined by academic rank and experience.
