ARTECHOUSE — the nation’s first innovative art space dedicated to experiential, technology-driven art — is seeking an Interim Location Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of our NYC location. This role oversees staff, revenue performance, programming execution, and guest experience, ensuring ARTECHOUSE continues to deliver world-class digital art experiences.

This is a hands-on leadership opportunity with the potential to grow into expanded responsibilities, including future site openings and long-term leadership roles.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead daily operations, staffing, scheduling, and guest experience.
  • Own key revenue KPIs: foot-traffic conversion, per-capita spend, XR Bar sales, private events, and retail.
  • Ensure all operations needs and training for new exhibitions are successfully completed. .
  • Execute onsite programming, press events, activations, and private events.
  • Ensure the venue is maintained to the highest standards; manage vendors, contractors, and repairs.
  • Manage and coach a team of ~15 staff, fostering strong communication and accountability.
  • Handle escalated guest situations and implement ongoing improvements.
  • Work weekends and evenings as required for programming and operations.

Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of operations experience in: attractions, museums, hospitality, festivals, entertainment venues, concerts, or experiential environments.
  • Experience managing teams, vendors, and high-volume guest operations.
  • Strong understanding of operations-driven revenue and KPIs.
    Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
    Comfort working in immersive, technology-driven environments.

Compensation: $75,000-$85,000 annual based,
commensurate
with experience.
