Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
An opportunity exists for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to provide essential services within a K-12 school setting in Oakland, CA. This role focuses on supporting students with diverse communication needs for the full semester, allowing for meaningful impacts on their educational journeys.
Qualifications:
- Valid California Speech-Language Pathologist license with CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence).
- Experience working with K-12 students, particularly in school settings.
- Strong assessment and diagnostic skills.
- Ability to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with staff, students, and families.

Responsibilities:
- Assess and diagnose speech and language disorders in students.
- Develop and implement appropriate therapy plans tailored to individual student needs.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support students communication goals.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of student progress and IEP compliance.
- Provide direct therapy services and monitor students' outcomes to ensure effective interventions.
