Job Description

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

An opportunity exists for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to provide essential services within a K-12 school setting in Oakland, CA. This role focuses on supporting students with diverse communication needs for the full semester, allowing for meaningful impacts on their educational journeys.

Qualifications:

Valid California Speech-Language Pathologist license with CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence).
Experience working with K-12 students, particularly in school settings.
Strong assessment and diagnostic skills.
Ability to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with staff, students, and families.

Responsibilities:

Assess and diagnose speech and language disorders in students.
Develop and implement appropriate therapy plans tailored to individual student needs.
Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support students communication goals.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of student progress and IEP compliance.
Provide direct therapy services and monitor students' outcomes to ensure effective interventions.
