Looking for a change of scenery and a chance to help others? Join a traveling Physical Therapist team in Dover-Foxcroft, ME at a hospital-affiliated outpatient clinic where you will treat general and post-op orthopedic patients, support occasional ED consults, day surgery patients, or inpatient coverage as needed, and contribute to team-based patient care.

Minimum Requirements
\n
- Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by APTA.
- Active Maine (ME) physical therapy license required to start the assignment.
- BLS certification from AHA or ARC required.
- Minimum 1 year of clinical physical therapy experience.
- Outpatient physical therapy experience required; experience with general and post-op orthopedic patients preferred.
- Experience using Cerner EMR preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

- First-time travelers are acceptable.
- Experience working in outpatient settings within or affiliated with hospitals preferred.

Assignment Details
\n
- Shift hours: 0800-1600.
- Schedule: Monday through Friday.
- Average patient volume: 10–15 patients per day.
- Orientation: 3–4 days, dependent on skillset and comfort level.
- No weekend rotation required. No on-call required.
- May be asked to provide occasional coverage for ED consults, day surgery patients, or inpatient cases.
- Department staffing: currently 3 PTs and 1 PTA.
- EMR: Cerner.
- Parking: free.
- Dress code: Business casual or scrubs.

Impacting Patient Care
\n
Provide outpatient orthopedic and post-operative physical therapy services within a hospital-affiliated outpatient clinic. Support continuity of care for surgical and acute patients when occasional coverage is needed. Work collaboratively with a small rehabilitation team to deliver evidence-based interventions and improve patient outcomes.
