Job DescriptionWarehouse Shipping and Receiving
Automation Personnel Services is looking for a Shipping and Receiving for a company based in Largo, FL. In this role, you will have the opportunity to advance your career while being a key part of a dynamic team in a fast-growing distribution of appliances.
Pay Rate
$16.50 per hour
Schedule and Hours
Tuesday through Saturday, 12:00 pm to 8:30 pm.
Warehouse Shipping and ReceivingDuties and Responsibilities
- Assist with shipping and receiving activities, including loading and unloading trucks, checking in merchandise, and matching purchase orders.
- Read customer orders, work orders to determine items to be moved, gathered, distributed and/or shipped.
- Assemble products and participate in inventory counts as needed.
- Take check calls from drivers, ensuring that loads will be delivered on time.
- Validate all load data prior to marking loads as delivered.
- Monitor daily pick-ups and deliveries; verify loads are in good condition.
- Closely follow safety regulations and guidelines at all times, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment and securing loads properly.
Warehouse Shipping and ReceivingQualifications and Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 2+ years of warehouse shipping and receiving experience.
- Ability to understand and follow safety protocols and operating instructions to prevent accidents and injuries.
- Physical strength and stamina to lift and move heavy loads safely and efficiently.
- Attention to detail and good hand-eye coordination to maneuver equipment in tight spaces and navigate busy warehouse environments.
