Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Bilingual Payroll Clerk to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the payroll process, ensuring accuracy in payroll calculations, and maintaining compliance with relevant regulations. This role requires a strong understanding of financial concepts and accounting principles, as well as proficiency in financial software. Temp to hire, Offering $27-33.00/hr. Located in Corona, CA

Responsibilities

  • Process payroll for employees accurately and on time, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Perform account reconciliation to ensure all payroll entries are accurate and complete.
  • Maintain employee records related to payroll, including deductions, benefits, and tax information.
  • Utilize financial software such as QuickBooks and Paychex to manage payroll data efficiently.
  • Conduct double entry bookkeeping to maintain accurate financial records.
  • Assist in technical accounting tasks related to payroll processing and reporting.
  • Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll discrepancies or concerns.
  • Prepare reports on payroll metrics for management review.

Skills

  • Proficiency in QuickBooks and Paychex
  • 4+ years of experience in Payroll processing
  • Fluent in Spanish and English preferred
  • Familiarity with multi-state payroll
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Strong communication skills for interacting with employees and management regarding payroll matters.
