Salary Range: $56,000 - $83,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities
- Source and evaluate new suppliers to meet production demands and quality standards.
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules with vendors to achieve cost savings.
- Generate and manage purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and timely placement.
- Monitor and expedite orders to ensure on-time delivery of critical materials.
- Collaborate with production and planning teams to forecast material needs and optimize inventory.
- Identify and implement cost reduction opportunities without compromising quality or supply.
- Resolve issues related to supplier performance, material quality, and delivery discrepancies.
Recommended Qualifications
- 2+ years of direct purchasing experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics 365).
- Demonstrated strong negotiation and supplier relationship management skills.
- Ability to read and interpret technical specifications and blueprints.
- Proven track record of cost reduction and supply chain optimization.
Bonus Qualifications
- Demonstrated understanding of Lean manufacturing principles or Six Sigma methodologies.
- Experience with advanced ERP functionalities for procurement (e.g., SAP Ariba, Oracle Cloud Procurement).
- Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, advanced Excel) for spend analysis and market intelligence.
- Project management experience, particularly in new product introduction (NPI) or supplier transition projects.
