The Office assistant will speak to prospective clients to educate them on our services, review referral packets, communicate with the Regional Center and the customers and ensure high quality service, represent the agency at community events, uphold the agency’s values and high standards of care and ensure that the employees, clients and customers’ case managers are satisfied with our service.
Role and Responsibility
Answer phone calls from referral sources, prospective clients and/or family members, and existing clients and employees.
Review the referral packet and initiate the intake process.
Perform audit to ensure staff compliance with documentation.
Communicate with customers, their families and Regional Center.
Maintain accurate records of all prospective and active clients and employees.
Attend meetings with the case managers, customers and/or caregivers.
Supervise direct support staff.
In charge of orientations, in-services, trainings and other company programs or initiatives to enrich the quality of the employees.
Billing of customer services.
Perform other tasks as assigned.
Work Hours
Office hours are 8am to 5pm for full time. May be required to answer the phone after hours.
Minimum Qualification
Must be high school graduate or equivalent
Must be able to speak and write English (Bilingual preferred)
1 years supervisory experience (Preferred)
1 year of experience working with the Regional Center (Preferred)
Authorized to work in the United States of America (Required)
Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (Preferred)
Must be willing to work with people with disabilities (Required)
Current CPR and First aid (Required)
Live scan check (Required)

Pay: From $21.00 per hour
