American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with at least 1 year of experience for a night shift position in Colorado.

- 3x12-hour night shifts per week
- May be required to float to other departments within scope of competency and qualifications based on business need
- May be required to be placed on-call during a regularly scheduled shift
- Epic EMR used for charting

Requirements\n
- \n
- Graduate of an NBRC-approved Respiratory Therapist program from an accredited institution
- Registered by the National Board for Respiratory Care (RRT)
- Minimum 1 year of Respiratory Therapy experience
- Active Colorado Respiratory Therapy license required (DORA); license required if applicable
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications from AHA required (must not expire prior to start)
- English proficiency: reading, writing, and speaking required
- DOB and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration

Additional Information\n

- Perform, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic testing procedures including arterial blood gas collection
- Initiate and manage Respiratory Protocols, administer medications, and intervene based on clinical assessments
- Oversee and troubleshoot respiratory equipment to ensure optimal patient care
- Communicate patient progress and recommendations to physicians, nurses, and other departments
- Provide patient and family education on self-care techniques and health promotion
- Participate in quality improvement, patient safety initiatives, and departmental research activities
- Act as a resource, consultant, and mentor to CRT staff within the department
- Former permanent staff of any Intermountain facility must have been separated for at least one year before being eligible for a travel assignment
