Pride Health is hiring a Phlebotomist II to support our client’s medical facility, based in Highland Village, TX 75077
This is a 3+ months contract job with a possible extension opportunity and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!
Location: Highland Village TX 75077
Schedule: Mon-Fri 8 am - 5:00 pm (40hrs/week)
Pay Range: $19.37 - $22.53 (Offered pay rate will be based on education, experience, and healthcare credentials.) The rate is based on years of DIRECT EXPERIENCE as listed in the resume.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Perform venipuncture and capillary blood sampling with precision and care.
- Ensure proper identification of patients prior to blood collection.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to laboratory procedures and safety protocols.
- Accurately label and document specimens for testing in accordance with medical terminology standards.
- Label, process, and transport blood specimens accurately and efficiently in compliance with CLIA, OSHA, and HIPAA standards.
Education:
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Medical training (such as medical assistant or paramedic programs) is preferred.
Experience:
- Minimum of three (3) years of phlebotomy experience, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary draws.
- At least two (2) years of experience in a Patient Service Center or clinical setting is preferred.
