Express Employment Professionals has partnered with a well-established industrial organization in the Hutto area that supports manufacturing and infrastructure-related operations. This company is known for its commitment to quality, operational efficiency, and long-term customer partnerships.
We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Purchasing / Customer Service Representative to support day-to-day purchasing activities, vendor coordination, minimal inventory tracking, and customer service/account management in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Pay Rate: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour, depending on experience
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with purchasing activities, including creating and tracking purchase orders
- Communicate with vendors regarding pricing, availability, and order status
- Maintain minimal inventory tracking and support inventory-related processes
- Provide customer service and account management support, including responding to inquiries and coordinating orders
- Utilize Excel for purchasing and tracking needs
- Prepare and review basic documentation and presentations using OnePoint and PowerPoint
- Support internal teams to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment
Qualifications
- 1–2 years of previous experience in customer service and/or purchasing, preferably in a similar industry such as manufacturing, industrial services, construction, distribution, electrical, mechanical, or infrastructure-related environments
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with PowerPoint required
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work effectively with vendors and customers
- Bilingual in Spanish is ideal (not required but highly preferred)
