Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Key Qualifications:
- Current certification to teach Special Education
- Experience with homebound or individualized instruction strongly preferred
- Background working with elementary-level students, especially those in life skills programs
- Proven ability to collaborate with families and support teams
- Adaptability and creativity in tailoring instruction to unique learning needs
- Strong communication and organizational skills
Responsibilities:
- Provide specialized instruction in accordance with the student’s individual education plan (IEP)
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans, focusing on foundational skills and life skills development
- Track progress and document educational outcomes
- Deliver instruction onsite in compliance with district policies
- Collaborate with family members and educational stakeholders to support student achievement
- Dedicate 4 hours weekly to direct instruction, with an additional hour for prep time
