Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive scrub and circulate nursing care in the Cardiovascular Operating Room.
- Operate within the Epic electronic medical record system to document patient care activities accurately.
- Collaborate with the core staff as an integral team member, adapting to floating assignments when required.
- Respond to call requirements during 10-hour day shifts, maintaining readiness for patient emergencies.
- Maintain compliance with all clinical policies and timeliness of documentation and credential submissions.
Qualifications:
- Active RN license with a minimum of 2 years of experience specifically in the CVOR setting.
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
- Proven expertise in both scrubbing and circulating duties.
- Prior experience with Epic EMR strongly preferred.
- Previous travel nursing experience is highly advantageous.
- Ability to function professionally within culturally diverse team environments.
- Must be located within 50 miles of the Health Park Medical Center permanent address or willing to relocate within this radius.
- Willingness and availability to float between sister campuses as needed.
Schedule:
- 10-hour day shifts with call requirements.
- No block scheduling; flexibility is essential.
