This opportunity seeks a highly skilled and experienced Surgical Technologist with expertise in orthopedic, neurological, vascular, and a broad range of surgical specialties. The role is offered as a 12-week contract assignment in Cambridge, OH, designed for a current traveler with a strong background in surgical technology. Candidates must demonstrate up-to-date knowledge and hands-on experience across multiple surgical disciplines.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide surgical support in orthopedic, neurological, vascular, and other general operating room procedures
- Prepare operating rooms and instruments for surgeries, ensuring strict compliance with sterilization and safety protocols
- Assist surgical teams with instrumentation and equipment management during procedures
- Maintain critical communication with surgeons, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to facilitate seamless surgical operations
- Participate in call rotations, responding within 30 minutes when called to the facility
- Adapt to variable work schedules, including three 12-hour shifts, four 10-hour shifts, or five 8-hour shifts, with flexibility on start and end times
Qualifications and Experience:
- Graduate of an accredited surgical technology program required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) preferred
- Extensive, current experience with orthopedic, neuro, vascular, and related surgical areas
- Strong knowledge of central processing and instrumentation
- Excellent critical thinking skills and ability to work under pressure
- Ready to commit to call rotations, including potential holiday coverage
Schedule:
- 36-40 hours per week (flexible shift lengths)
- Approximately every 5th weekend call, split between multiple call groups
- Call volume and holiday rotation dependent on patient census and staffing needs
