St. Patrick's Manor Nursing & Rosarie Center located in Framingham, MA has an exciting opportunity available for a Full-time and PRN Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join their new in-house therapy team!

Position Summary:
As an SLP, you will evaluate, diagnose, and treat residents with communication, cognitive-linguistic, and swallowing disorders. You will work closely with an interdisciplinary team to help residents regain their independence and improve their quality of life.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans for residents with speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders.
- Provide direct therapy services in accordance with the plan of care.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other rehabilitation professionals to ensure comprehensive resident care.
- Educate residents, families, and staff on communication strategies and safe swallowing techniques.
- Document all evaluations, treatments, and resident progress in compliance with state, federal, and facility regulations.
- Participate in care planning meetings, discharge planning, and quality improvement activities as needed.
- Provide training and supervision to Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (if applicable).
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Current State licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (or eligibility to obtain).
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred; CFY candidates will be considered.
- Current CPR certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Experience in a skilled nursing facility or with geriatric populations preferred.
