Responsibilities

  • Oversee human capital management processes, including recruitment, onboarding, and employee orientation to ensure a seamless experience for new hires.
  • Manage employee leave of absence and benefits programs such as life, health, dental and disability insurances, vacation and sick leave.
  • Administer benefits programs, ensuring accurate data entry and compliance with applicable laws.
  • Maintain HRIS (Human Resources Information System) platforms like Workday or SAP SuccessFactors for data collection, reporting, and workforce management insights.
  • Handle employee relations issues with professionalism and tact, employing conflict management skills to resolve concerns effectively.
  • Ensure compliance with employment & labor law, OSHA standards, and affirmative action planning requirements through diligent policy enforcement.
  • Coordinate training & development programs to enhance employee skills and support organizational goals.
  • Manage HR sourcing strategies via social media management tools and other channels to attract diverse candidates.
  • Assist in all human resources activities as directed, to meet department goals.

Experience

  • Proven experience in human resources management or related fields with a focus on talent acquisition, leave of absence (FMLA/CFRA/PDL/FEHA/ADA/AAP/WC/EEOC/FLSA/HIPPA), and benefits administration.
  • Experience administering employee benefits programs, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability insurance, open enrollment, benefit audits, employee education, and vendor management.
  • Strong knowledge of employment & labor law and HR compliance standards.
  • Hands-on experience with HRIS platforms such as ADP Workforce Now.
  • Demonstrated project management skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage effectively across all levels of an organization.
  • Administrative experience involving data entry, contracts management, and payroll systems such as ADP Workforce Now.
  • In depth experience with Excel creating and maintaining spreadsheets
  • *Bilingual in Spanish Required*

Schedule: Monday-Friday: 6:00am-3:00pm

Rate: $25-$30 DOE
