Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dependable Experienced Residential & Commercial Painter to join our team. This role involves working on high-end residential projects and select commercial work where attention to detail and consistency are essential.
We are looking for individuals who take pride in their craft, understand the importance of proper preparation, and can consistently deliver clean, professional results. The right candidate is reliable, detail-oriented, and able to maintain a high standard of work across a variety of project types.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform detailed surface preparation, including cleaning, scraping, sanding, patching, caulking, and priming
- Apply paints, stains, coatings, and finishes using brushes, rollers, and spray equipment (including airless sprayers)
- Complete interior and exterior painting with clean lines and consistent finishes
- Perform drywall repairs, texture matching, and surface restoration
- Assist with minor trim work and related repairs as needed
- Protect surrounding areas, including furniture, flooring, and landscaping
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site
- Communicate professionally with team members, supervisors, and clients
- Work efficiently while maintaining high quality standards
- Provide updates on project progress and identify issues early
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of professional painting experience (residential and/or commercial)
- Strong knowledge of surface preparation and high-quality finishing techniques
- Proficiency with brushes, rollers, airless sprayers, and standard painting tools
- Ability to read and follow work orders or project specifications
- Comfortable working on ladders, scaffolding, and elevated surfaces
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical labor throughout the workday
- Reliable transportation and consistent attendance
- Strong attention to detail and pride in producing high-quality work
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience using airless sprayers and maintaining spray equipment
- Solid process, including surface preparation, application methods, and finishing standards
- Experience working on high-end residential or detailed finish work
- Familiarity with job site coordination and working alongside other trades
