Job DescriptionBachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

We are seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher for a full-time school-based position in Galt, CA for the 2026–2027 school year.

Assignment Details:

• Full-time position
• School Year: August 13, 2026 – June 9, 2027
• Kindergarten classroom
• Structured Autism Program
• Mild to Moderate support needs caseload
• Collaborative and supportive educational environment

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs)
• Provide specialized instruction and behavioral support tailored to student needs
• Collaborate with general education staff, related service providers, and families
• Monitor student progress and maintain required documentation
• Foster a positive, engaging, and inclusive learning environment

Qualifications:

• Active California Special Education Teaching Credential
• Experience working with students with autism spectrum disorders preferred
• Knowledge of evidence-based instructional and behavioral strategies
• Strong communication, collaboration, and classroom management skills
