Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A contract opportunity is available for a licensed School Psychologist to provide services in Shelbyville, IN. This role focuses on delivering special education evaluations across multiple school buildings within the district.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct approximately 70 psychoeducational evaluations annually to determine eligibility for special education services
- Collaborate effectively with school staff and families to support student needs and promote successful outcomes
- Provide support across three school buildings, adapting to diverse student populations
- Report findings and progress to the district supervisor and actively participate in monthly team meetings ensuring alignment with district goals
Qualifications:
- Valid Indiana license to practice School Psychology is required
- Experience with psychoeducational assessments and eligibility determination preferred
- Strong knowledge of special education laws and compliance standards essential
- Ability to work onsite Monday through Friday, 7:45 AM to 3:15 PM throughout the contract period ending May 21, 2026
