Location: Linden, NJ
Role Summary:
This position performs microbiology testing with a strict focus on mycology for clinical patient samples in a hospital-style laboratory environment.
Key Responsibilities:

Perform mycology investigations on patient samples

Identify fungal organisms using standard microbiological methods

Maintain QC/QA logs and contribute to accreditation compliance

Support parasitology and bacteriology as applicable

Communicate results and maintain accurate documentation
Required Experience & Skills:
-
Minimum 2+ years clinical microbiology experience
-
Mycology experience is required

Experience must be within clinical or hospital environment - environmental microbiology is not acceptable

Bachelor's degree in Medical Laboratory Science or related field (preferred)

ASCP certification preferred; not mandatory
Shift :
-
Wednesday - Sunday, 10:00 AM - 6:30 PM
