Job Description
\n\n\nSUMMARY: Responsible to the Nursing Director and under the direction of an RN/Charge Nurse, the Emergency department Technician, in a holistic manner, will assist in the care of patients both physiologically and psychologically by providing basic nursing care. He/She will also be crosstrained to perform secretarial tasks.

\nEXPERIENCE: Emergency Department experience preferred. Hospital experience within last 3 years required; Clerical/secretarial experience in a hospital, preferably in an Emergency Department.
\n
\nOTHER: Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to multi-task. Basic Computer Skills.

\nLICENSE/CERT: Required: BLS (Basic Life Support) from AHA (American Heart Association), CNA (Certified Nurse Assistant), EMT - State of Missouri
\n
\nEDUCATION: Required: High School or Equivalent\n\n\n
