Description:
Monday to Friday 8:00 am to 4:30 pm. ( With occasional shift change to include Sunday 8:30 - 1pm, a weekday off, and Saturday 8:30 am to 1 pm)

- Schedules appointments, checks in patients and start/end tests in Epic. Answers phones, elicits information from patients in order to triage phone calls and distinguish emergent, urgent and routine problems.
- Applies Holter monitors and event recorders with full understanding of EKG signals in order to obtain accurate and readable recording/data. Explains procedures to patients and family members prior to monitor application and provides teaching instructions with regard to monitor functioning and removal.
- Decision Making: Ability to make decisions that are guided by general instructions and practices requiring some interpretation. May make recommendations for solving problems of moderate complexity and importance.
- Problem Solving: Ability to address problems that are varied, requiring analysis or interpretation of the situation using direct observation, knowledge and skills based on general precedents.
- Independence of Action: Ability to follow precedents and procedures. May set priorities and organize work within general guidelines. Seeks assistance when confronted with difficult and/or unpredictable situations. Work progress is monitored by supervisor/manager.
- Written Communications: Ability to read, and write in English in order to understand basic safety instructions and take direction from supervisors; communicate effectively with patients, families and other medical center staff; and respond to basic questions.
- Oral Communications: Ability to comprehend and converse in English to communicate effectively with medical center staff, patients, families and external customers.
- Knowledge: Ability to demonstrate full working knowledge of standard concepts, practices, procedures and policies with the ability to use them in varied situations.
- Team Work: Ability to work collaboratively in small teams to improve the operations of immediate work group by offering ideas, identifying issues, and respecting team members.
- Customer Service: Ability to demonstrate a positive attitude and respond to requests in a timely and respectful manner.

NO local travelers will be accepted (cannot reside within 50 mi from the facility) ALL RTO REQUESTS MUST BE PRESENTED AT TIME OF SUB Travelers who have worked for Beth Israel Lahey Health as perm or per diem within the last year will not be accepted - MUST be separated from facility for one year to be considered
