Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Required Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Special Education Teaching certification/licensure (or eligibility to obtain)
- Previous experience teaching special education at the high school level preferred
- Strong understanding of IEP processes and special education compliance requirements
- Ability to create, implement, and adapt lesson plans for a variety of learning needs
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with staff, families, and related service providers
- Dedication to building supportive, inclusive classrooms and fostering student growth
Core Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver engaging, individualized instruction to students with diverse learning needs
- Adapt curriculum to accommodate varying abilities and learning styles
- Manage and document progress, maintaining accurate IEPs and supporting paperwork
- Work collaboratively with general education teachers, support staff, and families
- Participate in IEP meetings, student evaluations, and staff professional development as needed
- Establish a positive, inclusive, and structured classroom environment that encourages student participation
