Active Registered Respiratory Tech (RRT) license and 2+ years of in-patient hospital Respiratory Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

As a Registered Respiratory Therapist, you’ll work in a large, 280-bed acute care hospital setting, caring for patients across medical/surgical, ICU, and stepdown units. This opportunity is designed to broaden your clinical expertise, allowing you to master diverse workplace practices and learn from various leaders within the field. Exposure to a broad patient population will expand your clinical skills and foster your adaptability, resilience, and creative problem-solving.
Schedule / Hours:
- 13-week assignment
- 36 guaranteed hours per week (excluding orientation/closed holidays)
- 12-hour night shifts
- Every other weekend and holiday
- Float to various inpatient units as needed
Qualifications:
- Current Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with Indiana license
- 1+ year of recent experience in Respiratory Therapy
- AHA BLS and ACLS certifications
- NBRC certification required
- EPIC charting experience preferred
- Demonstrated proficiency in Medical/Surgical, ICU, and Stepdown Respiratory Therapy (including BiPAP/CPAP, ABGs)
- Adaptable, resilient, strong interpersonal skills
- Will wear black scrubs
Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive respiratory care and assessments
- Accurately document patient progress using EPIC
- Provide therapies and interventions for diverse patient groups
- Float between medical/surgical, ICU, and stepdown units as required
- Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams to optimize outcomes
