Job Description
Pride Health is hiring an Radiation Therapist – Outpatient Cancer Center to join a high-volume, state-of-the-art outpatient cancer clinic delivering exceptional care to 60–100 patients per day using three advanced treatment machines. This facility is known for its diverse and inclusive team, strong clinical leadership, and commitment to compassionate, high-quality oncology care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer precise radiation treatments to ambulatory cancer patients in an outpatient setting.
- Operate Varian TrueBeam Linear Accelerators in accordance with safety and protocol standards.
- Coordinate with physicians, dosimetrists, nurses, and other oncology team members.
- Accurately document treatments and patient responses using EPIC and ARIA EMR systems.
- Ensure all activities comply with radiation safety regulations, facility policies, and treatment plans.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Radiation Therapist
- ARRT (T) certification required
- BLS certification required
- Proficient in the use of Varian TrueBeam Linear Accelerator
- Experience in treating various cancer diagnoses in an outpatient environment
- Open to first-time travelers
Additional Information:
- Location: Charlotte, NC 28204
- Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM | 40 hrs/week
- Contract Length: 3 months with possibility of an extension
- Pay Rate: $60 - $65/hour
*Offered pay rate will be based on education, experience, and healthcare credentials.
