Job Description
Seeking an experienced contract Manufacturing Engineer to support our metallic fabrication, composite bonding, assembly, and engine/nacelle integration operations. The ideal candidate will bring strong aerospace manufacturing expertise, real-time problem-solving capability, and a continuous improvement mindset.
Required Qualifications:
- B.S. in a relevant engineering subject (Mechanical, Aerospace, Industrial, or other)
- 3+ years of experience as a Manufacturing Engineer within an aerospace production environment.
- Hands-on experience with metallic and/or composite fabrication, assembly processes, and engineering support on the shop floor.
- Demonstrated proficiency applying lean manufacturing principles and structured problem-solving methods (e.g., RCCA, 5 Why, fishbone, kaizen).
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work cross functionally and influence without authority.
- Ability to travel frequently between client sites (up to 30%).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience using CATIA, Teamcenter, SAP, and Solumina.
- Experience with composite material systems, bond processes and equipment.
- Prior work supporting nacelle or aircraft structures production environments.
