Position Summary
The Sales Operations Manager is a hands-on, data-driven leader who will build and execute processes and programs to streamline our sales operations across every market. This role designs and scales training programs, coaching frameworks, and performance dashboards that turn data into daily action. It also owns commission process management and sales systems governance, including CRM standards, integrations, and tooling selection. By building clear, practical playbooks and partnering cross-functionally, the Sales Operations Manager accelerates new market launches, drives consistent execution, and enables reps and managers to perform at their best.
What You’ll Do:
- Standardize sales training across all markets with role-based curricula, certifications, and refresh cycles
- Build a sales coaching framework and tools, including scorecards, observation guides, and manager enablement kits
- Work closely with analytics team to design performance dashboards and reports that surface activity, funnel health, and conversion outcomes by market, channel, and rep
- Manage sales commission processes end-to-end, including plan documentation, eligibility rules, calculations, approvals, and dispute resolution
- Evaluate, select, and implement a commission system that supports plan rules, approvals, statements, and auditability, own ongoing administration and improvements
- Document and update sales playbooks that define stages, talk tracks, objection handling, and handoffs
- Support new market onboarding by coordinating tooling access, training schedules, market setup, and materials readiness
- Lead cross-functional projects from scoping through implementation with clear timelines, owners, and KPIs
- Other duties as assigned
What You’ll Bring:
- 5+ years in Sales Operations or related enablement/analytics roles in a growth environment
- Proven experience building scalable training programs and coaching frameworks for inside or field sales teams
- Strong proficiency with CRM and reporting tools; ability to define data models and dashboards that drive action
- Incentive compensation experience, including plan design support and system implementation
- Experience managing commission processes or incentive compensation administration
- Demonstrated skill in documenting processes and creating clear, usable playbooks
- Analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into insights and recommendations
- Excellent communication and facilitation skills for training, coaching, and cross-functional alignment
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and influence without authority
- Strong presentation skills with the ability to craft and deliver executive-ready narratives and training sessions
- Change management skills with training delivery and adoption measurement
- Strong documentation practices; examples of playbooks, SOPs, and data dictionaries
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable operating in ambiguity while meeting deadlines
- Experience with field sales or door-to-door operations, preferred
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and spreadsheet modeling
