You’ll gain invaluable experience floating between Surgical/Trauma ICU, Stepdown, and Telemetry units, with the chance to enhance your resume and share best practices with esteemed colleagues. Schedule:

  • Start: 05/11
  • Duration: 16 weeks
  • Rotating shifts
  • 36 or 48 hours per week

Desired Qualifications:

  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program; BSN preferred
  • Active, unencumbered Hawaii RN license
  • Two (2) or more years of full-time staff RN experience in a Surgical/Trauma ICU at a Level I Trauma Center prior to any travel assignments
  • Current AHA BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS certifications
  • TNCC required; ENLS and CPI (or equivalent) preferred
  • Specialty certifications such as CCRN or TCRN highly desired
  • CRRT and EPIC EMR experience preferred
  • Successful completion of an EKG exam (80%+)
  • Compliance requirements must be fulfilled no later than 10 days before contract start; RTO not allowed during initial contract

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver exceptional, patient-centered care in a Surgical/Trauma ICU setting
  • Float as needed to ICU, Stepdown, and Telemetry units
  • Consistently meet high standards of documentation and care coordination
  • Rapidly adapt to evolving clinical situations in a fast-paced environment
