We are looking for a driven and professional Roof Specialist – Sales to join our residential storm restoration team. This role involves canvassing storm-affected neighborhoods, conducting roof inspections, assisting homeowners through the insurance process, and selling roofing solutions. Key Responsibilities:

1. Canvassing & Lead Generation

  • Walk storm-impacted neighborhoods to identify potential customers.

  • Educate homeowners on signs of storm damage and offer free roof inspections.

  • Generate qualified leads through door-to-door efforts and local networking.

2. Roof Inspections & Sales Process

  • Conduct roof and exterior inspections to identify hail or wind damage.

  • Capture and document findings using photo and inspection software.

  • Explain inspection results, service options, and roofing systems to homeowners.

3. Insurance Claim Guidance

  • Assist clients with understanding and initiating their insurance claims.

  • Attend insurance adjuster meetings to advocate for fair damage assessment.

  • Guide clients through paperwork and communication with insurance companies.

4. Customer Relationship Management

  • Maintain regular, professional communication with clients throughout the sales and project cycle.

  • Log all interactions, appointments, and job details in the company CRM.

  • Follow up on leads and ensure timely progression of jobs.

5. Project Coordination

  • Handoff project details to production and support teams once inspection is complete.

  • Conduct final job walkthroughs to confirm customer satisfaction and close out projects.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

  • Monthly Sales Revenue: $60,000–$100,000+ in signed contracts

  • Contracts Signed per Month: 10–15 (target, varies by market)

  • Lead-to-Close Ratio: 30–40%

  • Weekly Leads Generated: 25+ doors knocked / 10+ qualified inspections

  • Customer Satisfaction Score: 90%+ (post-install feedback)

  • Insurance Claim Approval Cycle: Average within 15–20 business days

Qualifications:

  • 1+ year of outside sales or customer-facing experience (roofing or storm restoration preferred).

  • Ability to confidently knock doors, inspect roofs, and close deals.

  • Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and presentation skills.

  • Comfort with climbing ladders a plus.

  • Familiarity with the insurance claim process (training available).

  • Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle.

  • Proficiency in mobile technology, CRM tools, and photo-based documentation.
