Recovery Coach
Location: West Nyack, NY
About Us: Our organization operates a residential treatment program in West Nyack, NY, dedicated to adolescents seeking help for Anorexia Nervosa, Bulimia Nervosa, Binge Eating Disorder, or Exercise Addiction.
At our facility, we assist adolescents and their families on their journey to complete recovery. We equip each young person with the tools to face life's challenges without the burden of an eating disorder. Our approach combines empathy, education, and family involvement to foster a supportive recovery environment. We aim to help each adolescent cultivate healthy skills and gain a profound understanding of how to lead a life that celebrates their unique individuality.
We are currently looking for a Recovery Coach to become part of our dedicated team.

Position Type: Part-Time, preferably on Sundays/Mondays or Wednesdays/Thursdays.
Compensation: $17.00 - $22.00 per hour, based on experience and educational background.

Key Responsibilities:
- Actively support clients throughout their recovery process.
- Deliver interventions aligned with each client’s treatment plan.
- Encourage clients to form healthy relationships with peers and staff.
- Assist with food preparation and meal setup; supervise and model client meals and snacks.
- Participate in therapeutic groups and help develop essential skills for clinical growth.
- Conduct rounds and provide necessary observations.
- Occasionally transport clients for off-site appointments and activities.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 2 years of post-secondary education; a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology is preferred.
- At least one year of experience in a mental or behavioral health environment is highly desirable (and may be required in certain states).
- A valid state-issued Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
- Strong communication and client relationship skills, a service-oriented mindset, flexibility, and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team.
