Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Step into a meaningful contract opportunity as an Onsite Occupational Therapist, covering a maternity leave for the 2026-2027 school year. This role is scheduled to run from August 31, 2026 through April 2, 2027, working a consistent Monday through Friday schedule with 37.5 hours per week. Based near Maple Grove, MN, you will support elementary students in a vibrant educational setting, helping them thrive both academically and personally.

Key Qualifications:

  • Active Minnesota Occupational Therapist license (required)
  • Previous experience in school-based occupational therapy preferred
  • Familiarity with elementary caseloads and the IEP process
  • Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, teachers, and families

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver occupational therapy services to elementary school students, focusing on both individual needs and group interventions
  • Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and document progress in accordance with school procedures
  • Support students in achieving independence in academic and daily living tasks
  • Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with educational staff to develop strategies and accommodations
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations
