We are currently seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Metal Polisher & Grinder to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience working with various metal finishes and grinding techniques to deliver consistent, high-quality results. This hands-on role is responsible for the buffing, grinding, polishing, and finishing of metal parts to achieve both 120 grit (#4) and mirror (#8) finishes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate polishing, grinding, and buffing equipment

• Grind, polish, and finish metal surfaces using hand tools and power tools

• Inspect metal parts to ensure quality, consistency, and finish requirements are met

• Read and follow technical drawings and work instructions

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area

• Adhere to safety protocols and use required PPE at all times

Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years of metal grinding and polishing experience required

• Proficient in achieving #4 and #8 finishes on various types of metals

• Solid understanding of grinding and polishing techniques and equipment

• Ability to interpret technical drawings and job specifications

• Excellent attention to detail with a focus on quality and precision

• Physically able to lift heavy parts and stand for long periods

• Strong work ethic and ability to meet production deadlines

• Familiarity with standard safety practices in a metalworking environment
