Position Overview
We are seeking a driven and results-oriented Sales Representative to expand the tank container business. This role focuses on new client development, account management, and sales strategy execution within the logistics and forwarding industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and acquire new customers within the tank container/logistics market
- Maintain and grow relationships with existing clients
- Prepare and present competitive quotations
- Track and report on all sales and marketing activities
- Keep clients informed on services, pricing, and updates
- Conduct market research on customer needs and industry trends
- Manage customer inquiries and resolve complaints professionally
- Collaboration with Procurement for cost control initiatives
- Work with Finance on credit reviews and account management
- Assist in forecasting, budgeting, and sales planning
- Support training and supervision of junior sales staff
- Handle additional sales-related duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field
- Minimum 2+ years of sales experience in logistics, freight forwarding, or a related industry
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Customer-focused with a proactive sales approach
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Strong awareness of market trends and customer needs
