Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A school district in Kenosha, WI is seeking dedicated full-time School Social Workers to support students across elementary, middle, and high schools for the upcoming academic year. These positions focus on working closely with students who have Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), providing essential services to promote their social, emotional, and academic success.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and provide counseling services to students with diverse needs
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement intervention plans
- Support students social and emotional development within the school environment
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and IEP planning
- Connect families with community resources and services to enhance student well-being
Qualifications:
- Valid School Social Worker license
- Master of Social Work (MSW) degree
- Experience working within school settings is preferred
- Strong understanding of special education and IEP processes
- Effective communication and teamwork skills
