Job Title: Machine Operator Assistant
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Assistant Operator who will assist with operating a rewinder/slitter machine. As you grow in the role, you will be trained to work with multiple canning machines, focusing on making and labeling cardboard cores for products like grocery store seasonings. You will need to manage a 10-hour shift on your feet, multitasking and ensuring efficient machine operation.
Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor rewinder/slitter and canning machines.
- Produce and label cardboard cores for packaging.
- Ensure the machine operates efficiently, aiming for a production rate of 19,000 cans per hour.
- Perform quality checks on produced items.
- Maintain attention to detail and multitask effectively during shifts.
Essential Skills
- Experience with machine operation and general production.
- Proficiency in inspection and use of measurement tools.
- Ability to multitask and maintain focus over long shifts.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience in packaging and quality checks.
- Background as a production worker.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
