Job Title: Program Manager - Photonics

Compensation: $150K - $200K base DOE plus equity

Position Overview
The Program Manager - Photonics will oversee and manage photonics-related projects, ensuring timely delivery, budget adherence, and alignment with strategic goals. This role requires a blend of technical expertise in photonics and strong project management skills to lead cross-functional teams in the development and execution of innovative optical technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage multiple photonics projects from conception through to completion.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams including engineering, manufacturing, and marketing to achieve project goals.
- Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets, ensuring alignment with company objectives.
- Conduct risk management and establish mitigation strategies for project challenges.
- Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to stakeholders and management.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations in photonics and optoelectronic components.
- Drive continuous improvement in processes related to project management and product development.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Physics, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in program or project management within the photonics or optoelectronics sectors.
- Strong understanding of photonics technologies, including fiber optic transceivers and semiconductor fabrication.
- Experience as a New Product Introduction (NPI) Program Manager is highly desirable.
- Proven track record in hardware development and project delivery.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to influence cross-functional teams.
- Familiarity with TFLN or Silicon Photonics technologies and optical systems is a plus.
