Doctoral degree in Audiology (Au.D.), active Audiolist license and 1+ years Audiologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A contract opportunity is available for a skilled audiologist specializing in telehealth services within a school setting. This role supports student populations by delivering comprehensive audiological evaluations and interventions remotely, ensuring accessibility to quality hearing healthcare.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct telehealth audiological assessments to identify hearing impairments and auditory processing issues in students.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans addressing the unique needs of each student.
- Collaborate with educators and support staff to integrate audiological services into student learning plans.
- Monitor student progress and adjust intervention strategies as necessary.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all evaluations, treatments, and communications in compliance with regulatory guidelines.
- Provide caregiver education and support regarding hearing health and amplification devices.
Qualifications:
- Valid certification and licensure as an audiologist, with eligibility to practice telehealth services.
- Demonstrated experience in pediatric audiology within educational environments preferred.
- Proficiency in telehealth technology platforms and remote patient management.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with students, families, and school personnel.
- Ability to manage a caseload independently while adhering to service delivery timelines.
