JOB TITLE: Assistant Server Associate (ASA) Part-Time
REPORTS TO: Food & Beverage Manager

PURPOSE:
The Assistant Server Associate supports the service team in delivering an exceptional dining experience for Berkeley Hall Club members and guests. This role focuses on table maintenance, food and beverage support, and anticipating member needs while upholding the Club’s high standards of service, professionalism, and hospitality.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist Servers with food and beverage delivery in a timely and professional manner
- Set, clear, and reset tables according to Club standards
- Refill water, coffee, bread, and condiments as needed
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas, service stations, and back-of-house areas
- Communicate effectively with Servers, Hosts, Bartenders, and Kitchen staff
- Anticipate member needs and respond promptly to requests
- Follow all sanitation, safety, and alcohol service guidelines
- Assist with opening and closing side work as assigned
- Support special events, banquets, and private functions as needed
Member Service Expectations
- Greet members and guests with a warm, professional demeanor
- Demonstrate knowledge of Club standards and dining etiquette
- Maintain discretion and confidentiality at all times
- Consistently provide courteous, attentive, and personalized service
Qualifications:
- Previous hospitality or food & beverage experience preferred, but not required
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Professional appearance and positive attitude
- Willingness to learn and take direction
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and lift up to 30 lbs

Salary is open and commensurate with qualifications and experience.
