Reno Staffing is looking for a Refurbishment Technician for a Manufacturing Company in the Spanish Springs area!

Shift: Monday to Friday, 6am to 2:30pm
Pay: $19/hr
Location: Spanish Springs 89441(not on a bus route)

Summary:

Join us as a Remanufacturing Technician and play a key role in our team! You'll get to use your skills to work on cutting-edge home battery storage systems, making a real impact in a high-visibility position.

Responsibilities:

AS degree in a scientific or technical field; OR HS Diploma/GED with equivalent manufacturing experience
Experience conducting tests in accordance with SOPs and or documented test procedures.
Experience with Operation of test\measuring equipment.
Knowledge of electronic theory and ability to read and understand component-level electronics schematics, diagrams, and written and verbal instructions.
Have a proven track record of success conducting tests and be capable of processing and summarizing related data.
Willingness to learn new systems, processes, and procedures.
Excellent problem-solving skills.
Proficient at reviewing BOMs, schematics, diagrams, mechanical drawings, and other technical documentation
Ability to communicate with employees at all levels within the organization.
Must be able to read and interpret technical drawings.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Board testing or debug experience a plus
Ability to identify, log, and/or troubleshoot issues that arise during production.

Requirements:

•AS degree in a scientific or technical field; OR HS Diploma/GED with equivalent manufacturing experience•2+ years of experience in battery or cell testing within an engineering or manufacturing industry• Experience conducting tests in accordance with SOPs and or documented test procedures• Strong verbal and written communication skills• Experience with high voltage systems: automotive, aero, and other• Hands-on experience with battery/cell monitoring is desirable• Have a proven track record of success conducting tests and be capable of processing and summarizing related data• Proficient at reviewing BOMs, schematics, diagrams, mechanical drawings, and other technical documentation• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment• Strong written and verbal communication skills• Willingness to learn new systems, processes, and procedures• Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses repair, and maintenance.• Proficient in MS Office Suite
