Overview
Jumpstart Midland is seeking multiple interventionists with instructional experience to deliver math intervention for our upcoming High Dosage Math Intervention Pilot Program. The role of the math Interventionist is to provide targeted intervention to students enrolled in our intervention program, building upon Jumpstart Midland’s Math Ain’t Mathin’ Campaign. The program is focused on providing math intervention services to students who are not currently on grade level in efforts to close the students current learning gaps.
This is a grant-funded, part-time position from February 2026 - May 2026 with an anticipated 15-20 hours per week.
Interested candidates must be highly organized, experienced in working in educational settings, have knowledge of assessment tools and data analysis related to math, and strong communication and interpersonal skills. Additionally, candidates are expected to demonstrate an understanding of diverse learning needs and cultural competence in working with students from various backgrounds.

Key Responsibilities Include, but are not limited to:
● Conducting assessments to identify students’ math strengths and weaknesses
● Developing targeted intervention plans using provided curriculum
● Providing direct intervention to students (individual and/or small groups) to close learning gaps
● Monitoring and tracking student attendance and student progress
● Communicate effectively with students, parents and other stakeholders
● Effectively supporting students in improving their math and numeracy skills
