TITLE: Vice President of Operations

We are looking for a Vice President of Operations. The Vice President of Operations will be responsible for setting and executing performance standards that drive excellence across Manufacturing, Production, Logistics, Safety, Workforce Development, Cost Control, Innovation, Maintenance, Inventory, and Asset Care.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
- Establish strong systems for quality assurance, risk detection, and process validation.
- Partner with senior leadership to define strategic goals and lead the execution of top priorities.
- Create and implement a long-term roadmap that strengthens operations protocols, processes, budgets, vendor relationships, and quality standards, while ensuring effective KPI reporting.
- Deliver significant improvements in key operational metrics (TRIR, fill rate, net productivity) and be recognized as a leader in the field.
- Develop and mentor operations leaders to consistently achieve strong results across all process areas.
- Oversee compliance with audit requirements and ensure all procedures meet regulatory standards.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Proven experience as a plant manager or multi-site operations leader in manufacturing, ideally with exposure to food or edible raw materials.
- Skilled at analyzing financial and operational data, turning insights into clear actions that improve results.
- Exceptional communicator with strong interpersonal skills. Able to quickly earn credibility and foster alignment across all levels of the organization while motivating others to take on ambitious challenges.
- Strong leadership track record with the ability to coach, inspire, and influence diverse teams.
- Strategic mindset combined with a practical, hands-on approach to problem-solving.
- Hands-on leader with the ability to inspire trust, build confidence, and deliver strong operational outcomes.
- Excellent at prioritization, collaboration, and cross-functional leadership.
- Background in plastics manufacturing, preferably with PA (nylon).
- Outstanding communication and presentation skills.
- Experienced in managing both single-site and multi-site operations. Capable of engaging and motivating teams while leading organizational change to raise performance levels.
