Alternative Fuel Systems Maintenance
Salary: $22–$34 per hour, based on experience

SCHEDULE
Full-time, Monday to Friday with rotating shifts (9:00 AM–5:30 PM and 5:30 PM–2:00 AM)

OUR CLIENT
Our client is seeking a Service Technician to join their expanding operations team responsible for maintaining and repairing modern clean-fueling systems. This position will focus on compressed and liquefied natural gas fueling equipment, ensuring smooth operation, safety, and long-term equipment reliability across multiple regional sites.

The Service Technician plays a key role in inspecting, maintaining, and overhauling fueling systems by performing both preventative maintenance and responsive service work. The role also contributes to maintaining station appearance and ensuring excellent customer experience standards are met.

THE ROLE
The successful Service Technician will:

  • Inspect, maintain, and repair fueling systems, including compressors, dispensers, storage tanks, dryers, valves, and associated components.
  • Troubleshoot electrical equipment such as switchgear, control panels, sensors, motors, and PLC-operated systems to restore performance and correct electrical faults.
  • Maintain and adjust mechanical assemblies including pumps, engines, coolers, exchangers, and piping for safe and effective operation.
  • Conduct site inspections, record system data, monitor performance, and perform adjustments as necessary.
  • Execute preventative maintenance tasks independently and escalate complex technical challenges when required.
  • Accurately document activities, service orders, and recommendations through electronic work order systems on mobile or desktop platforms.
  • Ensure fueling stations remain clean, safe, and accessible for customers and clients.
  • Travel locally between assigned locations; occasional regional coverage may be requested.
  • Participate in on-call rotations and after-hours service when required.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; additional technical or trade education preferred.
  • At least 2 years of relevant mechanical or electrical maintenance experience.
  • Demonstrated knowledge in troubleshooting both mechanical and electrical systems.
  • Ability to interpret schematics, diagnose faults, and restore equipment to working order.
  • Comfortable working outdoors and traveling between sites as needed.
  • Proficient with digital service and maintenance software.
  • Safety-oriented, reliable, and willing to learn within a technical environment.
