Salary Range: $47,000 - $70,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities
- Perform visual and dimensional inspections of incoming materials, components, and sub-assemblies against engineering drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
- Utilize precision measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and optical comparators to verify critical dimensions.
- Document inspection results accurately, including acceptance or rejection status, and maintain detailed inspection records.
- Identify and segregate non-conforming materials, initiating Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) and participating in the Material Review Board (MRB) process.
- Collaborate with purchasing, engineering, and supplier quality teams to resolve discrepancies and improve supplier quality.
- Maintain and calibrate inspection equipment, ensuring accuracy and proper functioning.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001) and safety procedures.
Recommended Qualifications
- Proficiency in interpreting blueprints, engineering drawings, and technical specifications.
- Demonstrated skill in using precision measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, and various gauges.
- Understanding of quality control principles, sampling methodologies (e.g., AQL), and non-conformance procedures.
- Strong attention to detail for accurate visual inspection and data recording.
- Basic computer literacy for data entry and utilizing quality management or ERP systems.
Bonus Qualifications
- Experience with Statistical Process Control (SPC) or other quality data analysis methods.
- ASQ Certified Quality Inspector (CQI) or Certified Quality Technician (CQT) certification.
- Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems for quality module operations.
- Basic understanding of relevant manufacturing processes or material science.
