Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) Certification and minimum 2+ years Surgical Tech / Operating Room Tech experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Perform critical nursing duties in the Operating Room Theater (ORT) in Clear Lake, IA, supporting surgical teams and ensuring patient safety throughout procedures. This evening shift role involves providing expert perioperative care in a fast-paced environment, helping to deliver exceptional surgical outcomes. Work Monday through Friday from 2:30 PM to 11:00 PM with no call requirements, offering a dependable and structured schedule.
Key Qualifications and Experience:
- Proven nursing experience specializing in Operating Room Theater (ORT)
- Strong knowledge of perioperative nursing standards and protocols
- Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary surgical teams
- Excellent patient care and communication skills
- Current nursing license and required certifications
Primary Responsibilities:
- Prepare patients, equipment, and surgical rooms for procedures
- Monitor patient vitals and anesthesia throughout surgeries
- Assist surgeons and surgical personnel as needed during operations
- Maintain strict adherence to infection control and safety guidelines
- Document care and ensure accurate surgical records
