Nursing degree, active registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1+ years OR RN experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A Registered Nurse with expertise in the Operating Room is needed for a travel assignment in Nampa, ID. This opportunity offers a dynamic schedule with consistent days off each week and the chance to work in a Level 2 trauma center setting.
Schedule/Hours:
- 10-hour shifts from 6:15 AM to 5:15 PM
- Shifts occur on consistent days weekly but are not consecutive
- Call required 2-3 times per 6-week period, covering weekends and holidays
- Call shifts are 12 hours, either 7 AM to 7 PM or 7 PM to 7 AM
- Up to 1 stay-late shift per week with specific on-call windows (17:1519:15 for 10-hour shifts and 19:1521:15 for 12-hour shifts)
- 30-minute response time required for call, consistent with Level 2 trauma center protocols
Qualifications:
- Current RN license with Operating Room specialization
- Experience working in fast-paced surgical or trauma environments
- Ability to respond quickly during on-call periods
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
Responsibilities:
- Provide perioperative nursing care in the operating room
- Collaborate with surgical teams during procedures
- Monitor patient status closely to ensure safety
- Respond to trauma cases efficiently, adhering to rapid response demands
- Participate in on-call rotations providing coverage during weekends and holidays
