Job Description

This is a rare opportunity to join a unicorn, late-stage biotech company with extraordinary room for growth.

You will serve as a key strategic partner and trusted right hand to the CEO, helping the executive team organize, communicate, and execute their highest-impact work. You will ensure leadership has the tools, systems, data, and frameworks needed to make faster, sharper decisions—raising the technical and analytical capability of the entire organization. Hours are flexible, 15-20 hours per week.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Exceptional academic background, ideally a recent graduate or early-career professional in a rigorous field.

  • Technically sophisticated and intellectually curious, able to learn new tools, platforms, and workflows quickly—and to help others understand and adopt them effectively.

  • A strong communicator who can interface confidently with executives, investors, scientists, and external partners, adjusting communication style as needed to keep stakeholders aligned.

  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft clear, precise documents, presentations, and analyses.

  • Highly organized, proactive, and able to anticipate needs in a fast-paced, dynamic environment; capable of managing multiple priorities with discipline and clarity.

  • A strategic thinker with strong operational instincts, comfortable solving ambiguous problems and building structure where needed.

  • Genuinely interested in biotechnology and healthcare innovation, and in how science, technology, strategy, and operations intersect in a growing organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive executive support to the CEO, managing calendars, meetings, travel, communications, and daily priorities with speed, accuracy, and exceptional attention to detail.

  • Act as a gatekeeper and strategic filter, ensuring the CEO’s time is spent on the highest-value activities and that information is triaged and routed appropriately.

  • Anticipate needs and resolve issues proactively, often before they are raised, maintaining smooth operations in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

  • Manage complex scheduling and logistics, coordinating meetings across time zones, preparing agendas, organizing materials, and ensuring all participants are aligned and prepared.

  • Draft, edit, and refine high-quality communications, including emails, memos, presentations, reports, and executive summaries.

  • Handle confidential information with absolute discretion, exercising strong judgment in communications, decision-making, and stakeholder interactions

  • Organize and support special projects, from cross-functional initiatives to event planning to high-priority tasks delegated by the CEO.
