Position: RN-Stepdown (Travel/Contract)

We're hiring experienced RN-Stepdown for a 13-week contract in Morgantown, West Virginia — earn up to ($2181 - $2296 per week) while providing essential care at a leading facility. Most candidates will need to have at least 2 years of recent experience in the specialty.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality patient care in a stepdown unit.

• Monitor and assess patient conditions regularly.

• Collaborate with healthcare team to develop care plans.

• Participate in continuous professional development activities.

• Educate patients and families on health management.

• Document patient progress and treatment plans accurately.

• Utilize data to track patient outcomes and improve care.

• Adhere to safety and infection control protocols.

• Engage in performance evaluations and feedback sessions.

• Manage time effectively to meet patient care goals.

• Assist in training and mentoring new nursing staff.

• Participate in quality improvement initiatives.

Experience/Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in West Virginia.

• Commitment to continuous professional development and learning.

• Experience in stepdown or critical care nursing preferred.

• Ability to collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary healthcare team.

• Experience in patient education and health management guidance.

• Strong communication skills for patient and team interaction.

• Knowledge of safety and infection control protocols.

• Strong time management skills to meet care goals.

• Proficient in electronic health record (EHR) documentation.

• Willingness to engage in quality improvement initiatives.
