Location: Edina, MN (100% Onsite – Daily onsite presence required. Only local Minnesota residents will be considered)

Pay Rate: $80-$90K - dependent on applicable candidate tenure and experience

We’re partnering with a well-established organization in the Edina area that is seeking a Payroll Analyst to join their growing team. This role will be a key part of both the payroll and HR operations functions, responsible for running bi-weekly payroll for 2,000+ employees and maintaining and performing complex HRIS configurations. This is a fully onsite position where you’ll collaborate closely with HR, finance, and IT partners to ensure accuracy, compliance, and process efficiency across payroll and HRIS.

Responsibilities include:

  • Process bi-weekly payroll for approximately 2,000 employees across multiple states
  • Maintain and configure HRIS including:
    • Pay groups, earnings/deduction codes, tax jurisdictions
    • Pay policies, shift differentials, rounding rules, and T&A rules
    • Workflow approvals and onboarding templates
    • User roles, permissions, and security profiles
  • Partner cross-functionally to troubleshoot and resolve payroll or HR data issues
  • Build and maintain custom reports and dashboards related to payroll, HRIS, and compliance
  • Oversee GL mapping and reporting for payroll-related journal entries
  • Support and monitor system integrations with benefits vendors, finance, and time systems
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations
  • Participate in UAT, system upgrades, and new module implementations as needed

Qualifications:

  • Experience processing multi-state payroll for 1,000+ employees
  • 3–5+ years of payroll experience, including hands-on HRIS configuration and processing
  • Knowledge of payroll compliance, tax reporting, and GL reconciliation
  • Strong reporting skills; ability to create, interpret, and act on data
  • High attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and a collaborative mindset
